(Perfect for teens hitting that milestone… including my own very-soon-to-be driver.)
There’s something wild about shopping for a kid who’s suddenly old enough to be behind the wheel. It sure did get here fast for me, so I wanted to share what will be under the tree for my new driver this year!
I rounded up two things I honestly think every driver should have in their car.
Short, simple, useful.
1. Multiport Car Charger
Because teens never remember to charge their phone before they leave the house… but somehow always need it when they’re out.
This one’s fast, compact, & has multiple ports so nobody fights over who gets the charger.
Both of my boys would absolutely live off this thing & myself as well! The cord is long enough to reach to the back seat & isn’t dangling around when not in use!
Charger cord $16
2. Visor Organizer
A little order never hurt anybody.
The pouch part keeps the insurance card, registration, & whatever other randomness teens stash in a car all in one zippered spot. Plus a place for sunglasses, a pen, chapstick etc.
When the stressful moment comes (pulled over, flat tire, needing something) they won’t be digging in the glove box. This is a no brainer y’all.
Visor organizers $12
Why these work
I think the assumption most people make is that new drivers need big, expensive gifts.
Honestly? They usually need organizational basics & safety helpers way more.
Under $17 for each makes this an easy add-on gift for grandparents, aunts, uncles, stocking stuffers… whoever. Now let’s all pray together that these kids keep their eyes on the roads!
